Oh, Christmas Tree

Trees, trees and more trees // my mom and Ritchie // my dad smelling one of the trees (He didn't know I was taking his picture, haha!) // Jennifer and Ritchie // my dad and Jennifer unwrapping a tree, while I dutifully guarded another on, (with my very life) *ahem* // a closeup (I think the tree guy stared as if I was a bit different for taking a DSLR camera to a pine tree lot. ;) ) // the trimmed tree, all aglow. :)

Isn't there something enchanting about Christmas trees?
I love the smell, but my favorite is when
you wake up
and see it there--
the glistening glass balls and
old homemade ornaments
and smile because you know that
Christmas is coming soon
and very soon. :)

  1. Ah yeah, I DO love that feeling you get when you wake up and see the tree there all aglow. One of the best feelings I think :)

  3. I totally hear you girl! I love all the pictures, especially the last one. It's stunning! I love brightly lit things. Me and my Mom went for a walk last night and it was simply beautiful. We went walking in a nearby neighborhood and almost all of the houses were lit up all prettily, the the kind with traditional lights and wreaths and christmas trees in the windows type of lit up. Not like the commercialism blow ups that a lot of people have nowadays. It was so pretty. And it was actually cold outside too! Which is crazy for Florida. It was just what I needed to help ease me into the christmas spirit. :)

    1. Thank you, Sophie! (: That sounds *so* amazing, just walking through lit streets like that. It does sound like a perfectly perfect recipe for Christmas spirit. :D

I know the feeling too, of seeing the lit-up Christmas tree in the morning and evening, it's great!
