About

I love Jesus.

I love my Church. I'm Catholic and incredibly happy to be so.  There's also no denying I was dearly blessed with the Protestant upbringing I had.

I love reading God's Word.

I love my family. I couldn't ever ask for any better, craziness and all. I have amazing: parents, three sisters as well as three brother-in-laws, three nephews and a niece.

I love my friends. I still can't believe how many kindred spirits God has given to me.

I love books. The older I'm getting the book wormier I find myself becoming.

I love to write; it's a way of telling stories as well as expressing ideas, opinions and emotions. And I find those to be perplexing tasks otherwise.

I love the rain; the sweet smell, the feel of it showering down on me in my Alabama Summers and the glassy look of it on the pavement. .

I love snapping up memories with a camera.

I love dancing. The Foxtrot, Swing and Waltz are my favorites, but it's on my bucket list to go to an English Country dance. Which reminds me...

I love bucket lists.

I love coffee.

I love that God made the stars, and I love the way time and cares stop in their tracks around me while looking up at them.

I love texts, especially ones with smileys. :)

I love fireflies.

I love the golden hour.

I love dark chocolate.

I love music that makes me feel good.

I love silly movies with happy endings; the kind that you can put in with the same category as cotton candy. Speaking of candy...

I love Pop Rocks (not paired with a soda, mind you).

I love playing piano by ear.

I love being an aunt and the memories made from it. (E.g. building blanket forts, creating with Play-Doh, watching Disney movies, and playing endless games of thumb war with the kiddos.) And...

I love it when they reach their little arms out to hug me. <3

I love walking through wet grass in bare feet.

I love the word, serendipity.

I love singing when no one is listening.

I love happy tears.

I love shopping for two things; books and tea.

I love sushi when I've had a not-so-good day.

I love quotes. Oh goodness gracious, how I love quotes.

I love Chuck Taylors.

I love adoption.

I love life in general (goes along with above).

I love thinking up ridiculous similes and metaphors. I also love sharing these ridiculous similes and metaphors with my friends. My poor friends.

I love Austenian words such as; thither, mischance and felicity.

I love the film, You've Got Mail, which gave me the idea for what I just wrote.

I love getting lost in botanical gardens.

I love really pretty scores to movies. And I wish they'd be my background music for life.

I love being a nerd.

I love the smell of chlorine in the Summertime.

I love yellow gingham.

I love roller coasters and that intense butterfly feeling when there's a big drop.

I love daisies.

I love stepping on crunchy, gold and marooned leaves, in the crisp Autumn.

I love white picket fences.

I love the taste of salty, ocean water, and the feel of warm, Gulf sand.

I love three shows; Full House, The Waltons and Little House On the Prairie. How's that for keeping up with the times?

I love the missionary life. I want to be able to call it my own someday soon.

I love how incredible Chuck Norris is. Maybe superb is a more adequate word?

I love pinkie promises.

I love feeling emotionally drained after a good novel.

I love laughing so hard I don't know how I'll stop.

I love being able to help with the special needs children where I volunteer, though they've helped and blessed this girl so much more.

I love movie theater popcorn.

I love my Tibetan Spaniel, George. He's an odd one, but I dolove the lil' fella.

I love end-not-in-sight, grand adventures. Who doesn't?

I love people who remain almost always cheerful. I'm trying to work on being that way; major work in progress, folks.

I love going to ballets and plays.

I love that carnival game where you shoot the water at the target. I'm taking this "random" thing too literally.

I love free verse poetry.

I love thrifting and antiquing.

I love hand-written letters that make me tear up.

I love it when people get The Princess Bride references. To me it's inconceivable not to.

I love fun dip and cherry coke.

I love pretty, old, water pitchers and basins.

I love most songs by John Denver. That reminds me...

I love The Great Smokey Mountains. To me, it's another home. I've been traveling there all my life, and honestly, going up to those peaceful mountains is like breathing in life; as pure as it gets. Something about the mountains calms down everything around you, except you your Creator.

I love authenticity.

I love the sweetness of hand-made quilts.

I love the long, beautiful, I'll-never-be-the-same-again-afterwards, sorta talks.

I love "I love you"'s .

I love the feel of smooth, slippery rocks in the bed of a rushing, cold river.

I love making lists.

Deo Gratias!
